How we protect your purchase and personal information
See what stays private, when information is shared to complete a service, and what you control before anything is mailed.
Protection at each step
One-time payment
Starter and Basic are single purchases. Neither package starts a subscription.
Review before use
See your analysis before buying, then check the finished letter before downloading or mailing it.
Mail only when approved
You review the finished PDF and recipient address before approving the included Basic mailing.
Price confirmed before payment
Checkout shows the selected package and total before you pay.
Draft expiration
Requested resume links expire, and unfinished anonymous drafts are removed after 30 days.
Data handling
While you use the site: HTTPS encrypts information sent between your browser and ReclaimDeposit.
Saved case details: Names, postal addresses, and other sensitive case fields are encrypted before storage.
Private access links: Resume and purchase links are limited to the access they provide and should be kept private.
Saved drafts: Anonymous drafts expire after 30 days.
Optional document extraction: The selected document is processed for editable field suggestions and is not added to your case or vault. You can enter every field manually instead.
Your account: Signed-in users can request deletion from the dashboard.
Diagnostics: Routine technical logs exclude case contents, addresses, payment details, and private access links.
Service providers
We share the information needed to complete the service you request. The privacy policy explains each provider's role.
- Stripe
- Handles checkout. ReclaimDeposit does not receive your full card number.
- Supabase
- Stores accounts, case records, and private uploaded documents.
- Lob
- Prints and mails an approved Basic letter using the PDF and postal addresses you provide.
- Resend
- Sends requested resume links, receipts, and case updates.
- OpenRouter and an eligible model provider
- Process a lease or deduction document only when you choose optional field extraction. Requests require zero-data-retention routing.
- Cloudflare Turnstile
- Helps keep automated abuse away from forms and account actions.
- PostHog
- Measures product use only after analytics consent. Session recording is off.

Report a security or privacy issue
Email support@reclaimdeposit.com with a brief description and the steps that caused the issue. Do not include another person's data, passwords, full payment-card information, or unnecessary documents.
